Delivery Areas and Charges

Most of our deliveries are made free of charge, but the reality is that some deliveries will incur a modest delivery charge.  We operate a zonal delivery service and deliver to most local areas five times a week. Post Codes for deliveries are essential now, additional direction details are also welcomed. While our main delivery area is the South West of England we can also deliver via the Palletline network Nationwide. All delivery methods and charges are calculated at the checkout. More details can be found on our Delivery Areas page

Next day delivery

We have always provided this option when available here required, however it does not mean that everyone and every product can be delivered next day. When we are taking delivery details we need Post Codes and telephone contact details too. If we can’t find you and we cannot contact you then we have little option to reschedule your delivery. The more information we have the more chance of a smooth and punctual delivery service.  More details on next day delivery here

Delivery requests

We use a mix of journey planners and common sense in planning each vehicles routes. However, all the technology and will in the world can’t help us with the most frequent request – “first drop please”.  In general the bigger the load and the closer you are to Newton Abbot then the more chance there is that we can help. When a vehicle has 11 smaller loads on a multi-drop run then we will invariably deliver to the nearest location first.

Vehicle access and unloading – deliveries are arranged on the understanding that we can gain vehicular access to the delivery address; please advise of any possible vehicle restrictions. Deliveries will be made to a suitable and secure unloading area which should be available within six metres of our vehicles parking space. If there is no suitable offloading place then the customer will be responsible for transporting the timber to a safe storage place. Delivery does not include walking items to rear gardens or through customers houses.
