Forest Garden Products Deliveries
Forest Garden Products import and manufacture timber based garden products. From garden sheds and picnic benches their ranges have expanded and now include a large range of products to help make gardens a more relaxing, and enjoyable, place to be. These products enjoy free delivery to most parts of the UK, more details are listed below.
Forest Garden Products run their own home delivery service, with their own fleet of vehicles and drivers. However, in some postcode areas, Forest Garden use a 3rd party carrier to deliver – they will contact each customer directly, usually by telephone call.
Delivery lead times
Delivery is normally made within 7, 14 or 28 days of purchase depending primarily on the product’s size and weight. Log Cabins can take longer, this has primarily been brought about by factors outside the timber industry. All dates quoted for delivery are approximate and we cannot accept any liability for any delay in delivery for any reason.
All products are delivered from Worcestershire, some are collected by freight hauliers who then deliver via a series of network hubs. Smaller parcels are currently (09/2022) being handled by Tuffnels who typically deliver between Monday and Friday between 8amnd 6pm. You will be notified by text, or telephone call as to planned day of delivery but usually no specific time of day can be given.
Almost all Forest Garden Products products are self-assembly items and therefore will be delivered in “kit form”. Instructions for assembly, and fixings, will be enclosed with the products.
Order / delivery requirements:
For larger products Forest Garden Products, or their delivery agents, will contact customers prior to delivery with a delivery date. This contact is usually by text, so please check your phone daily in case their proposed delivery date is not convenient. It is preferable that customers are available to check and sign for the product on the day of delivery.
The delivery to each customer’s property will be made to the nearest point that is adjacent to the roadway and clear of obstruction. For this reason their lorry needs to be able to park within 6 metres (20 ft) of the property receiving the delivery. Please note that the Carriers will not move product around or through the property.
Access for delivery
The size of the delivery vehicle may vary but the minimum size truck is normally a 3.5 tonne open flatbed. It might be a 7.5 tonne lorry which is approximately the size of a refuse truck. We would need to know if the address is an unmade road, the space is too small for a 25ft (7.5t lorry, the size of a bin lorry) to be unloaded, or maybe there are cars parked on both sides of the street.
Enquiries about delivery progress
Forest’s delivery service operates from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm. The day before your delivery is due, they will send you a text message (where applicable) advising of a 4-hour estimated time slot for the arrival for your delivery. They will also send you a tracking link via email (where applicable) on the morning of your delivery, which includes a live driver-tracking app.

In exceptional cases a delivery may fail
This would be most unusual, but it may happen. Sometimes the product may comprise 2,3,4 or more cartons and you might get a split delivery with 3 parcels one day and one parcel the next. Please make sure that you only sign for how many parcels you receive, do not sign for a parcel “promised” for delivery the next day.
All efforts will be made to redeliver as soon as practical, but if the customer fails to take delivery then Forest Garden Products Garden Products reserve the right to charge reasonable cost of storage and redelivery. They may alternatively resell the goods at market value and charge the original buyer any expenses occurred in the storage or reselling. Should the item resell at below the market value, any shortfall will be charged to the original buyer.
