Translucent Guttapral Sheet, 2.0m (x0.95m) can be used to bring extra light into external buildings
We stock Guttapral Black and Guttapral Green corrugated roofing. sheets When using translucent sheets it is important to store them in the shade, not in direct sunlight. This is because if translucent sheets are stored in a stack they can overheat and the profile can even change shape.
Guttapral roofing installation
The minimum pitch for the roof is 10 degrees with a recommended counter batten spacing of 400mm. A set of Instructions for roof design is included in the boxes for Guttapral nails. These fitting instructions can also be downloaded in Adobe Acrobat pdf format on this page. Allow 30 nails per roofing sheet plus 11 per ridge. Also available from stock are the Gutta profile foam fillers which help to prevent rain being driven under the corrugated profile. When using foam fillers please allow for some air flow within the building so that moist air doesn’t remain within the building and cause condensation. We also stock flexible Gutta ridges which measure 420mm from one metal cleated edge to the other.
