Planed Treated

Southern Timber provides high-performing planed treated timber for eco-friendly outdoor projects. Available in a variety of useful sizes, our tanalised PSE timber from Scandinavian redwoods is precision planed for a smooth, splinter-free finish. The refined appearance makes our pressure-treated planed timber ideal for exposed applications like fascias, soffits, cladding, and decking. While resistant to rot and insects thanks to Tanalith E pressure treatment, our timbers are intended for above-ground use only. Also, remember to coat any cross-cuts with end-grain preservatives.

Range of Planed treated timbers

We stock a variety of 25mm pressure treated planed timber in long lengths, some even measuring 6.0 metres (just over 29 feet). Our smallest PSE battens are popular for building privacy screens, and of course, built to the end-user's requirements.  In addition to the 25mm timbers we also have ex.75mm and ex.100mm planed posts. If you need larger timbers in your installation then remember that most 50mm and 75mm timber is now regularised which provides you with a semi-planed finish.
