Stocked sawn joinery

Our sawn joinery timber is sourced from selected specialised importers who are vetted for their quality of product, experience, reliability and purchasing policies. All our redwood joinery is sawn and kiln dried before being imported. We keep popular thicknesses of Sawn Softwood Joinery in stock, but can obtain volumes of other softwood and hardwood where required

Redwood joinery appearance

Redwood is a pale yellow to reddish brown wood; the light wood mellows with age. It is popular for joinery because the timber works easily and well with both hand and machine tools. Capable of producing a smooth, clean finish - can be glued, stained, varnished and painted satisfactorily.

Scandinavian unsorted grade

We keep Scandinavian unsorted grade redwood joinery, which is a combination of the four best grades of timber graded for appearance on the better face and both edges. Grading also takes into account the number and size of knots, plus any other allowable defects. Redwood joinery is ideal for planing and machining to produce doors, stair parts and furniture etc.
