The Quick-Step Massimo collection is part of the Quick-Step "Parquet" flooring range. The Quick-Step ranges feature engineered timber boards, laminate and quality vinyl options. Within the Quick Step engineered flooring oak range there are seven different collections aiming to provide many options. The Massimo boards, as the name suggests are big, 2400mm long with a width of 260mm. The Cappuccino Blonde Oak Extra Matt MAS3566 enjoys a Manufacturers Lifetime Domestic Warranty.
Massimo Engineered Oak flooring
Cappuccino Blonde Oak Extra Matt is a light brown colour option in the Massimo flooring collection. As with all Massimo engineered floors the boards are 2400mm long and a generous width of 260mm. These wide oak faced boards are all 13.5mm thickness, with the top wear layer of oak being 3.2mm thick. The oak wear layer is fixed to a solid spruce core and backing board. Next the boards are deep brushed to add extra character. Finally, these engineered oak boards are finished with seven coats of extra matt UV lacquer. Due to demand for a quick and easy floor installation these boards feature the Uniclic ‘Multifit’ system. This Multifit system enables the engineered boards to be clicked together using three different methods: drop down, angling or horizontal insertion.
Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important the board ends feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board ends. So, a protective coating is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends. Similarly many boards also have ‘SurfaceProtect+’ applied to the whole board surface to reduce dirt getting into the grain.
Oak Board and Pack Sizes
Pack size for the Cappuccino Blonde Oak Extra Matt flooring is 2.496 square metres and each pack contains four full length boards of 2400mm. Because the grade for all of the Massimo range is Vibrant all of the boards may include large knots and cracks. There will also be colour variations between the boards which will have a rustic appearance. Similarly knots of up to 50mm are allowed in this grade and these knots may be part, or fully filled.
