Log Cabins

Our most compact garden log cabins include buildings from Rowlinson Gardens and Forest Garden Products. Increasingly garden cabins are referred to as “Garden Rooms”, our focus here is on 4m x 3m models.

 At this entry price level, the cabin features are already fixed by the manufacturer, so carefully consider their preselected window and door layout.

Cabin layouts

The internal cabin layout is important for making the most of the new garden building. Where there are several family users this might need a bit of negotiation. Investing in furniture – desk, worktop, and partitions – can make the cabin space work more efficiently for you.

Preparing the plot

The positioning of the concrete slab for the garden cabin is vital. Forest Gardens discusses installation in detail, and it is recommended that you follow their instructions closely. If you have any questions then call us, or forward photos, for clarification.

Installation or not installation?

As with most activities, practice makes perfect. Each of the Forest Cabins has an “Installed” price which typically takes a Forest Products installation team 1.5 to 2 days to assemble.  Each cabin has a “delivered” and a “delivered & installed” price.

Which Garden Log Cabin?

Our starter range of garden rooms includes Rowlinson Garden’s – Garden Office; Oasis Cabin; Sanctuary Cabin; Retreat and the Studio Office.

Also included are Forest Garden’s cabin models: Harwood, Chiltern, and Melbury Log. Cabins vary slightly on included features, and whether installation is included.
