Log Cabins 12-30 sqm
Our larger garden log cabins are made by Forest Garden Products. Sometimes referred to as “Garden Rooms”, our focus is on Forest Log Cabins larger than 5 metre x 3 metre.
Cabin features are determined by the manufacturer, but several models have side windows and/or front doors that can be re-positioned.
Cabin layouts
The internal cabin layout is important, especially when the family have differing ideas about potential uses of the new space. Investing in furniture – desk, worktop, window blinds and screens - can help to make the newly created space work more efficiently.
Preparing the foundation slab
The positioning of the concrete slab for the garden log cabin is vital. Forest Gardens discuss this in some detail, and it is recommended that you follow their instructions closely. If you have any questions, then please contact us for clarification.
Installation or not installation?
Each of the Forest Log Cabins has a “delivered” and a “delivered & installed” price. Building the larger log-cabins isn’t for the faint-hearted, you could always employ a reputable tradesman to help.
Which Garden Log Cabin?
Our mid-range of log cabins features the Elmley (15 sq. metres) and Forest Arley (18 sq. metres), of which the Elmley window can be sited on either side.
Finally, the larger Forest Log Cabins, the Mendip (window either side) and Rushock (both 20 sq. metres) plus the Blakedown and Wolverley (24 sq. metres) all featuring doors that can be re-positioned during assembly.
