Log Cabins 12-30 sqm

Leisure log cabins represent a step-up in size over our Utility log cabins, measuring upwards of 12 square metres. These cabins are sourced from Forest Garden Products. While prices are important the cabin’s window and door positions will influence how your preferred model might work in practice.  

Cabin internal layouts

The internal cabin layout is important when optimising the space. Inevitably this means there might have to be some negotiation between family members. Remember furniture – desks, seating, worktop and partitions – might help the internal space work more efficiently.

Preparing the plot

The positioning and preparation of the base for the log cabin is vital.  Forest Gardens recommend a firm level base made of concrete, or concrete slabs, to support the buildings weight. More details on Base Preparation here. If you can’t find the details you require then please contact us.

Forest installation or DIY installation?

Each of the Forest Cabins has an option for an “Installed” price. For example, the Melgrove Cabin has an installation option for an extra £1445. Typically the cabin is delivered and then the Installation team will arrive later on the previously agreed date. Installation typically takes 1-2 days. 

Anyone preferring to assemble their own cabin is supported with documentation and  videos.

Our Leisure log cabin range includes the Arley (18);  Blakedown (24); Elmley (15); Mendip (20); Rushock (20) and the Wolverley (24) . Figures in brackets relate to approximate square meterage of each cabin.
