Softwood mouldings
Pine mouldings provide a low-cost option when a joinery project is being finalised. This invariably is for smaller general purpose construction work, e.g. pine stripwood for concealing gaps or joints in the underlying woodwork. A smooth finish that can be easily varnished, oiled or painted. Osmo Polyx can be sparingly used to achieve an excellent finish.
Pine dowels provide an alternative for nail or screw fixings but care must be taken that the integrity of the piece is not affected by using light-weight dowels. Dowel pins can be used to reinforce joints and provide support for shelves.
Pine quadrant provides a versatile quick fix, it is very easy to fix using glue or panel pins. Adds a nice, smooth finishing touch to any room. Available in three different sizes.
Pine Scotia Moulding is a decorative wooden trim made from high-quality pine wood. Often used to conceal gaps or joints in corners and edges, it adds a refined touch to various carpentry and home improvement projects. Stocked in two sizes and oak.
Three different sizes of pine Stripwood made from softwood which can be cut to any size. It can be used in small construction projects, panelling, general joinery and to box in pipework.
The staff bead moulding is kiln-dried an easy-to-install solution for holding the glass in place in sash-windows.
Finally, pine angle moulding can be used to hide a multitude of sins including screw heads. Stocked in 5 different sizes.
