Square 75mm and 100mm sawn wooden fence posts

All timber posts for external use should be pressure-treated with preservatives to protect against fungal and insect attacks. The 100mm sawn posts are a top-selling product and are stocked up to 4.8 metres long.

If the post’s service life is vital then 100mm incised posts are ideal.  These incised posts receive deeper penetration of preservatives, and a Manufacturer’s 15-year Warranty. 

Large section timber posts for field and driveway gates

Timber driveway/field gates need a 2.4 metre post for hanging. Sawn post stocks include 150mm, 175mm and 200mm square. Usually, the heavier the gate the bigger the hanging post cross section should be. Smaller gates are usually sold with a 125mm square post. More details on gate post sizes here

Largest wooden fence posts

Cross sections for posts longer than 2.4 metres include 150mm square (3.6m and 4.8m) and 200mm square (3.6m and 4.8m). These are standard tanalised posts, if you require long life (Warranted) large section posts then please try the Tack ’n’ Wrap Postsaver option.
