Tanalised Shadow Gap
Shiplap is always a popular cladding, but actually, there are several types of shiplap. One of the newer profiles has been called “Shadow Gap Cladding” and it adds a modern design element to almost any home or outdoor building.
It can be installed both vertically or horizontally, opening up a range of design options. Once installed, shadow gap cladding creates the effect of a narrow gap between the timbers. This displays a small line of shadow between each piece, which gives a smart and contemporary look to the host building.

Tanalised - just another name?
Some merchants refer to “green treatment” they are not referring to the timber being tanalised, more hinting that it might be. All of our Tanalised cladding is pressure treated and states “Pressure-Right Treated” indicating it has been pressure treated in a vacuum tank and meets other timber industry criteria. For this reason, the Manufacturer provides the cladding with a 15-yr Warranty - subject to Terms & Conditions.
