Pressure treated cladding and 15-Year Treated Right Warranty

Timber cladding is still popular, largely because of aesthetics. Our cladding stocks of TGV, Shiplap, Shadowgap and Loglap are machined from redwood pine and then pressure treated with Tanalith-E preservative.  We often refer to this as “tanalised” timber. Most of these products are backed with the Manufacturer’s (Arxada) 15-Year Treated-Right Warranty. 

TGV Cladding for building exteriors

There are two TGV options for exterior cladding, ex.19 x 100 and ex.25 x 150, and both are quite robust when framed. The 25mm finishes at approximately 20mm and uses include cladding larger garden buildings, stables, workshops, and home offices. The ex.19mm finishes at about 14mm thick and uses include soffits, doors and playhouses.

Shiplap and Shadow Gap Cladding profiles

Our tanalised shiplap cladding includes three favourite, traditional profiles. Sizes are ex.19 x 125mm; ex.19 x 150mm and ex. 25 x 150mm. The Shadow Gap profile is a modern variation, the boards are machined so that each adjoining board fits snugly to allow dimensional movement. The joint and board profile provide a sleeker, more contemporary appearance. 

Loglap Cladding Profile

Our Loglap cladding is available in three different profiles meaning we can supply loglap cladding for large or small structures. We keep the 25 x 125mm Loglap in stock, with other profiles available to special order which normally involves a minimum run of 200-350 linear metres. 

Finally, don’t forget to order some Ronseal end-grain treatment to help validate one requirement of the Treated-Right Warranty.
