Western Red Cedar

This product exhibits a range of cream,red and brown colours which are visually striking. They can be used without any additional preservatives because they contain large quantities of tannin. Because of the UV rays in natural sunshine they will change colour during the first few months gradually adopting grey colours. This colour change can be slowed down with products such as Osmo 420 UV Protector. Customers wishing to retain vibrant colours would be advised to pick a pigmented option such as Osmo 428 UV Protector.
