NewTechWood UltraShield is an environmentally friendly wood plastic composite deckboard. UltraShield combines the proven strength of high-density polyethylene plastic and wood fibres. The addition of an outer shell of polymer helps protect the deckboard from stains & fading.

NewTechWood UltraShield is a popular Brand in our composite decking range. This NewTechWood composite decking is low maintenance and more uniform in appearance. UltraShield board lengths are 4.8 metres and 3.6m but 5.4m boards can be ordered. 

Low Maintenance and natural appearance

UltraShield deck boards are engineered to provide low maintenance. Spillages can be easily wiped off the surface because liquid doesn’t get absorbed by the shield. You don’t have to worry about splinters or staining the deck every year. Boards should be fixed with NewTechWood stainless steel screws and clips. 

UltraShield is best described as a natural looking synthetic decking product. The patented shield formula, Naturale, provides rustic colour and deep wood grain patterns that bring out the beauty of wood without the hassle. 

Long Lasting Colour

The outer shell of UltraShield forms an impermeable layer of protection from stains & fading. Because of the unique shield properties this ensures the colour lasts much longer than conventional composite decking.

You should notice only minimal changes to the board’s colour and never need to paint, sand or oil the deck. We stock three popular NewTechWood colours: Antique, Grey and Teak`. Ebony and Walnut are also available to special order.
