The Hardie VL Plank weatherboard was introduced in late 2020 to provide a sleek, modern cladding profile. This Hardie VL weatherboard is 11mm thick and is fixed using a clip-less system that is quicker than comparable systems. While the HardiePlank is an overlap board, the VL plank has a T&G connection. Both Hardie weatherboard profiles use advanced fibre-cement materials to withstand weather, fade, rot and pest attack. James Hardie also provides a 15-Year Warranty on HardiePlank products with ColourPlus technology against cracking, chipping, peeling, rot and delamination.
