C24 Graded Timber from Scandinavia
The growth in open plan living areas has increased demand for larger section sizes, and lengths, of structural timbers. British timber grows too quickly to grade at C24 so we buy this C24 regularised timber from Scandinavia. This is high quality C24 Graded Timber stock. We purchase full packs of regularised timber, the timbers within each pack having consistent dimensions and a smoother planed finish than traditional sawn carcassing. Most regularised timber has “eased” edges, the machining processing means that the nominal sizes are reduced slightly.
Timbers all pressure treated with preservative
Our timber carcassing is pressure treated with Tanalith E, or similar, timber preservative. These timbers are intended for use above the ground DPC but where the timber may be subjected to the risk of occasional wetting. Therefore, all cut ends should be resealed with the app

Fifteen Years Decking and Deck Frame Warranty
The decking market has matured with composite and high-end decking products. We are conscious that some Trade customers, and end-users, are wanting decking that is traditional and cheaper than imported composite decking options. It seemed to us that offering decking products - post supports, timber joist, decking boards - with a longer service life would be a good option. To this end we have added a selection of UC4 incised decking joists. They are processed to a more stringent specification and consequently the Manufacturer offers a 15 Year guarantee for these selected UC4 products.

Here at Southern Timber we have always enjoyed supporting local talent where possible and so when the opportunity come up for us to get involved with the LegsUpForTalent campaign we were honoured.
LegUpForTalent works with horse riders and companies alike to bridge the gap in a much needed marketing service. LegUpForTalent was created to help Amateur riders gain financial, as well as in kind support to enable them to work their way up levels with the financial backing they need. Over the years, their riders have received over £400,000 worth of support and it is still to this day the only equestrian platform that provides an accountable and unique service successfully.
