25mm RECTICEL EUROTHANE GP Rigid PIR Insulation 1200 x 2400mm

As a rule of thumb un-insulated building can lose up to a third of its heat through its walls and roof.  Building regulations, when they are required, have become increasingly demanding and any new build or renovation involves the purchase of insulation products. This invariably involves the installation of PIR insulation – we keep several brands.  To maintain a balance between supply and demand we carry branded insulation boards including Recticel, Celotex, EcoTherm (from KIngspan) and Unilin.

Recticel is suitable for multiple applications and provides good thermal performance.  Recticel PIR has a grid pattern on both sides and has straight line edges to help produce a quick and easy installation. The 2400mm x 1200mm boards are light weight, easy to carry and easy to cut.  We recommend the Bahco Profcut Insulation saw if you are cutting more than a small quantity.

This Recticel board is resistant to mould growth and BBA Certified

Recticel Eurothane GP insulation boards

A high performance PIR insulation board, light weight, easy to cut, handle and install. Whether it's a pitched roof, framed wall or floor, Eurothane GP is the ideal solution amongst contractors and installers. The board’s core consists of rigid polyisocyanurate PIR foam and each board is fitted with a tight multilayer foil on both sides.

Applications

On pitched roofs the Recticel Eurothane GP insulation boards are very popular amongst professional installers.  These insulation boards are light, easy to install and can be cut on site. The PIR boards are laid with the long edges parallel to the rafters and tightly butted in a brick-bond pattern.

All board joints running eaves-to-ridge should be supported by rafters with the boards temporarily fixed with nails before counter battening.
